“Broadway’s biggest blockbuster.”

SO MUCH HAPPENED BEFORE DOROTHY DROPPED IN.
Long before that girl from Kansas arrives in Munchkinland, two girls meet in the land of Oz. One - born with emerald green skin - is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. How these two grow to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good makes for “the most complete - and completely satisfying - new musical in a long time” (USA Today).
On Broadway and around the world, WICKED has worked its magic on critics and audiences alike, winning 50 major awards, including a Grammy and three Tony Awards.
Individual tickets will go on sale Saturday, February 15, 2014.

Recommended for ages 8 and over. Children and adults will be familiar with many of the characters in Wicked, which takes place long before that girl from Kansas arrives in Munchkinland. Some of the plot might be complex for kids and scenes with the flying monkeys may frighten younger children, but themes of bullying, popularity and acceptance will speak to school-aged kids.
Celebrating a right only 10 other productions in Broadway history can claim, WICKED marked 10 years on Broadway on October 30, 2013. Watch this moving 10-year anniversary memoir.
