Martin Luther King Jr. Theatre Project
From 1994 to 2006, California Musical Theatre has contributed to its mission of educating new audiences and nurturing aspiring artists, in part, through the Martin Luther King Jr. Theatre Project. In previous years this project celebrated cultural diversity by producing a new or classic work of American musical theatre whose themes resonate with multi-cultural artists and audiences. California Musical Theatre works to further Dr. King's ideals of inclusion and cultural diversity through the theatre arts.
